La piata de vechituri/Visit to the flea market

[En]I've written in other posts about the things I've bought from the flea market until now and I realized I miss it. I think it passed about an year since my last visit (maybe a little less) and the reason I stopped going is only because I've bought so many things that I don't have any more storage for them.

[En]But I've heard they renovated the space and it was about time to go and check it out. Anyway, the baby needed his morning walk, so why don't go there? So Saturday, early in the morning we went, and the temperature was perfect for Rares. We didn't want to go too late, because the temperature would have been too high. Before the baby, the usual time for us as 10-11 am. When we arrived there, everything was changed. Until now, sellers would put their merchandise on the ground or on improvised tables, standing in the hot sun. But now, there was concrete everywhere, organized tables and roofs. I guess that there were not enough tables, because a lot of sellers still put their stuff on the concrete. It was good that there were roofs, but the feeling just wasn't the same. You couldn't feel the... freedom anymore. Everything seemed kind of crowded, cramped, suffocating. And I didn't have the patience I once had. But still, we spent there one and a half hours.

[En]And as always, I didn't leave empty handed 😀 I just can't visit a flea market and not buy anything, it's just not the same. But I didn't buy much, just a glass cookie stand (which I plan to paint as soon as my schedule allows it), 2 simple wooden frames, without the glass (I have no idea what I will do with them, but I will figure it out) and, of course, flowers and fruits from the old people selling them in front of their houses. I tell you, it is the best place to buy flowers, they are fresh cut the same morning and are really cheap. I paid 10 lei (2 euros) for 2 bouquets, each containing at least 3 pieces of pink hydrangea. If I would have had more hands, I would have bought all the flowers!

[En]You can find anything at this flea market, from fresh fruits and vegetables to used nail polishes, from solid wood furniture to pharmacy letters (I don't know who would buy letters with the name of a specific pharmacy..but the guy was trying to make some money :)) )
